Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

These are the guiding words for me as I think about the faith and how to raise our children in the Christian faith. I have known and seen the struggles that are met by most parents with young children when they bring them into a congregation to worship. Is the church safe for little kids? With the rise of "Children's Church" and the various models of ministry that separate families during worship, the great struggle I see with this is, "How are families to grow together in faith if they don't worship together?"
